Schools can expect to see people with jobs in regeneration help renovate their buildings after a deal was confirmed.
Balfour Beatty has reached financial close for two school projects, which will see educational establishments in Ealing and Oldham be refurbished.
Ealing Council has teamed up with the construction group to rebuild a part of The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School in Greenford and create the new PPP Dormers Wells High School in Southall.
Cabinet member for children and young people at the local authority Patricia Walker said the council is focussed on "getting the maximum benefit out of these two building projects".
Balfour Beatty will also help deliver a new PPP Roman Catholic secondary school in Oldham, as well as remodel the North Chadderton facility in the area.
Chief executive of the organisation Ian Tyler said that these projects - worth £53 million each for each locality - demonstrates the group's "commitment to the local communities through an employment and skills pledge that will leave a lasting skills legacy".
