Those searching for regeneration jobs may be interested to hear of plans by Nottingham City Council of a staffing restructure.
As the local authority reveals it is set to reorganise its senior management team as it looks to deliver the Nottingham Plan, Barry Horne - corporate director of environment and regeneration - is set to depart from the council next month.
Jane Todd, chief executive of Nottingham City Council, points out that Mr Horne has contributions include improvements to the city's Old Market Square and Maid Marian Way, as well as an enhanced reputation on both the national and international stages.
The council states that news on the vacant corporate director development post and interim management arrangements is to be released in the coming days, something that may interest those seeking regeneration vacancies.
Meanwhile, the government revealed last week that its Operational Efficiency Programme is to see the Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation incorporated with the Homes and Communities Agency in an effort to make the regeneration project in the area more efficient.
