Britons searching for jobs in regeneration may find employment opportunities abound in south Wales.
Jane Hutt, minister for business and budget for the Welsh Assembly government, has announced £8.3 million of funding to regenerate Bargoed.
Such investment will see a new bus station built in the town, while new civic space will be created on the site of the existing terminal.
In addition, regeneration officials on the project will oversee the enhancement of High Street and Hanbury Road, as Lindsay Whittle, leader of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, claims the government is looking to transform the town "into a thriving and bustling economic centre for south Wales".
Ms Hutt adds that "the scheme will deliver long-term economic, environmental and social benefits for Bargoed, bringing with it new employment and business opportunities", something that those seeking regeneration jobs may want to consider.
It was recently claimed that a regeneration project in Leicester could see more than 2,000 jobs created in the region.
