A £137 million regeneration job is closer to taking place in Ealing following the submission of a planning application to the local council.
Rydon and A2Dominion are behind the proposed joint venture, which will see 464 homes demolished on The Green Man Estate to make way for new properties if the plans are approved.
The proposed regeneration job involves the construction of new affordable housing for shared ownership and rent, along with additional community buildings and facilities, reports the Ealing Gazette.
David Highton, chairman of community group West Ealing Neighbours, said local residents would now be able to take a closer look at the proposals for themselves.
He stated that this should not be the end of regeneration jobs in the area.
"The key issue here is how it fits in with West Ealing as a whole, because this shouldn't be seen as an isolated project," Mr Highton said.
Earlier this week, it was announced that hundreds of regeneration jobs are to be created in London thanks to commercial property developments taking place in Beam Reach, Rainham.
