People with regeneration jobs will be interested to hear that there is going to be a town planning project in Lincolnshire.
The town of Hykeham, south-west of Lincoln, is set to be redeveloped to create better transport links, more shops and a greater choice of jobs for local residents.
A study of the area is currently being conducted, which will help establish what regeneration projects will be implemented, according to the Lincolnshire Echo.
North Hykeham town clerk Mary Silverton told the newspaper that areas of improvement are likely to involve rail transport, leisure and employment in the area.
"You don't get many chances and it's important to try and get it right. We started working on this in 2007 and we think we are ready to have a proper study with technical input," she stated.
Plans to renovate Cheltenham's town centre have also been revealed recently when proposals to restore two car parks were made public, the Cheltenham Echo reported.
