People with jobs in regeneration could soon start work on redeveloping the town centre of Hammersmith.
Helical Bar and Grainger's joint application to regenerate the area have been submitted to the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.
The groups' King Street Developments project will see the extension of the Town Hall removed and replaced by a public courtyard, surrounded by al fresco cafes and restaurants.
Other plans include the building of 320 new homes, a small supermarket and a new council building.
David Walters, a spokesman for King Street Developments, said: "[The project] will also ensure that Hammersmith Town Hall remains at the heart of the borough's civic life."
He added that the scheme will "benefit local residents and business for decades".
Last month, the Wokingham Times reported that Wokingham Borough Council has confirmed a contractor has been appointed to carry out plans to regenerate the area's town centre.
