Some concerns had been raised during the consultation process about possible problems with rodents, waste and flooding, but environmental health officials declared that any potential complaints in the future will be looked into if and when they occur.
Daniel Brown, of Brown Eggs, said: "We're investing to carry on in egg production, so we're really pleased the application has been passed."
Last month, staff in environmental health jobs declared a petting zoo in the north-east of England to be free of E.coli.
