Volunteers have taken part in environment and sustainability jobs in a bid to clean up a local beauty spot in Bradford.
Residents in Oakenshaw cut overgrown vegetation and cleared paths to restore the beauty of the Toad Holes Beck - an area featuring wildlife, plants and a pond.
Bradford Metropolitan Council's executive member for environment and sustainability Ghazanfer Khaliq said: "This event shows how various organisations and volunteers can work together to boost the local environment and generate a strong community spirit."
He went on to thank the residents as well as volunteers from the West Yorkshire Police, Bradford Fire Service and Oakenshaw Conservation Group for their support in clearing invading Himalayan Balsam reeds from the pond and trimming wild weeds and plants.
Last month, allotment owners from Bradford and other Yorkshire towns gathered in order to discuss the importance of allotments in encouraging sustainability in the area, with Jannette Goodinson, the council's allotments officer, saying they provide "cheap, healthy food".
