Dorset County Council needs to employ people with
jobs in town planning in order to fix the problem of potholes in the area, it has been said.
Ian Clarke told the Daily Mail that there are so many holes on the A35 near Christchurch in Dorset that he has seen many cars swerve sharply when driving down the road.
He has collected a number of hubcaps from vehicles as a result of wheels being damaged by the potholes and has begun to put them on a nearby hedgerow.
Mr Clarke hopes that the local authority will see this and begin to take notice of the
town planning job needed to resurface the stretch.
The council confirmed that it will begin to amend the problem later in the week.
His comments echo those of taxi driver Duncan Black who recently told the Glasgow Evening Times that there is a big problem of potholes in Glasgow as well.
