People with jobs in regeneration will be able to see plans for the latest redevelopment project in Gloucestershire after proposals were made public.
Earlier this week, proposals to revamp the North Place and Portland Street car parks were released to local residents and received a warm welcome, according to Cheltenham Echo.
One such supporter is Alice Wyatt, who works at the Central Hotel in Portland Street.
She said regeneration of the site is a good idea so long as it does not compete with local businesses in the area.
Initial proposals, which were drawn up in 2008 as part of the Civic Pride regeneration initiative, included plans to build a library, offices and council buildings.
However, the local authority confirmed that this redevelopment would need to be pursued by private investors.
Revised plans include building residential and commercial buildings, as well as a bus interchange.
The public is invited to comment on the ideas and there is to be a consultation by the council on October 1st 2010.
