People with jobs in town planning are expected to be required in south-east London after it was revealed that a large-scale construction project will take place in the area.
Hotel group Travelodge has confirmed that together with Skillcrown Homes a 92-bedroom facility will be built on London Road in Bromley.
Earlier this week, Bromley Council confirmed planning permission for the new premises, according to Property Week.
The news provider quoted Travelodge's UK planning director Tony O'Brien as saying: "Despite being a location that is perfect for both business and leisure travellers, Bromley has a shortage of hotel rooms."
He added: "We have long-wanted a site in the town and ideally will locate another one soon."
The property development news comes in the same month that Travelodge opened a 55-bed hotel in Wadebridge.
This facility represents an investment of more than £2.2 million into the Cornish town and has created ten positions.
