Full Description:
Central London Local Authority requires a Licensing Officer. You must have a working knowledge of Licensing Enforcement Officer, under Licensing Act Skills The role is to deliver an effective, high quality Licensing service in line with Council, Departmental and Service Objectives. To carry out enforcement action in respect of licensed/unlicensed premises. To work in partnership with the Police, Fire Brigade and other enforcement agencies on projects. You must be able to work independently outside the office and to work in a team on a shift basis that will include evening and weekend working. To be able to use databases for recording and retrieving information. This is for a 35 hour week, but every 2 or 3 weekends, will work Friday and Saturday nights. This will involve arriving around 5.00pm on Friday and doing a working day starting at that time. Working on Saturday night will mean a day off on the following week. The manager would be happy train a more entry level candidate with less experience - Use of outlook Flare Full Driving licence 35 hour week.
