Environmental Health Officer/Technical Officer - Pollution/Public Health

West Midlands Based Local Authority client, Environmental Health Officer/Technical Officer required. The job is within the Environmental Protection Section of Public Health. The post holder would need to have experience in working within this area, specifically around undertaking Environmental Permitting inspections, investigating nuisance complaints from commercial and industrial premises, and reviewing the environmental impact of planning and premise licence applications. There will also be a need to carry out routine monitoring work to support colleagues such as landfill gas montoring, or the diffusion tube survey. Start date as soon as possible. Flexi time, working 37 hours a week. No planned out of hours work but may be required from time to time.
