Environmental Health Officer/Technical Officer - Pollution/Public Health

East London Based Local Authority client. Environmental Health Officer/Technical Officer required x 2
1 Full Time Post (36 hours per week
1 Part Time Post (24hours per week)

You must be an Environmental Health Officer and/or have Diploma in Acoustics or equivalent to assess complex planning apps and acoustic reports.

You must have at least 2 years experience in investigating noise nuisance complaints and acting as the duty noise officer as part of a rota including week days and weekends. Must be experienced in preparing and serving noise abatement notices and obtaining warrants for disabling alarms and carrying out noise seizures. Must be able to act as a lead officer in responding to and representing the Council for licencing applications/representations.

Both require a full driving licence and use of a car

Both posts include shifts between 09.00 am and 04.00 am

Contract will run through until May 12
