Environmental Health Officer/Technical Officer - Housing

Our client is looking to appoint an EHORB registered Environmental Health Officer or an experienced Enforcement Officer into their Housing Team, ideally before Xmas due to a large and growing workload.

In this role you will be responding to reactive housing complaints involving issues such as disrepair, damp and mould. You will be required to investigate these incidents and, where required, prepare legal notices and schedules of work for remedial action. It is absolutely essential that you have experience in this field due to its specialist nature and you will need to hold the HHSRS qualification.

The initial contract will be offered for 11 weeks and rates are negotiable dependent upon experience. The role is based within a Local Authority in the East / South East of England. Our client may consider those looking for work on a part-time basis.
