A Planning Enforcement Officer is required for a specific 'sheds' project with our client in Slough; funding is secured until at least the end of January. Your work will focus on investigating possible breaches of planning regulations in relation to illegal residential developments. You can expect to be working in conjunction with other Council departments to manage a busy programme of ongoing inspections. Using your knowledge of the planning process and legislation in place you will seek to identify potentially illegal properties and then produce reports documenting your findings.
To apply for this role it is essential that you have previous experience in an enforcement capacity; previous sheds project experience is not necessarily required. The role will see you working around the district so you will need to be able to have use of your own vehicle that is suitably insured for work purposes. Mileage will be paid.
